During our annual off-season meeting, we came up with improvements for our fantasy football draft offerings. Based on feedback from our customers and our own ideas - we believe we have come up with some key enhancements for the 2010 season. We know that our customers will appreciate them:
Including Markers in our Draft Kit: Our customers ask, and they shall receive. In an effort to make our kit truly complete for 2010, we are including free chisel tip permanent marker that dries quickly and wont fade. These are no cheap, narrowly-tipped markers - they're fatties! Every Commissioner needs a permanent marker at the draft. Now, every SaveTheDraft.com Commissioner will.
Return of The Gloss Aqueous Finish As part of a new printing process last year, we implemented the use of a spray powder technique that basically sped the drying of the ink on these huge 4 x 6 foot boards. This had the effect of slightly different visual appearance, one with more of a 'dull' finish. Although barely noticed by our customers, we noticed and have committed to returning the aqueous finish - one that we believe not only makes the board more sturdy, but also more visually appealing.
New Color For Wide Receivers While we've always felt like a plain white label among the colors in our NFL player label kit provided good visual distinction, it doesn't really 'pop' off the board. With that in mind, we have introduced a killer new
GREEN color for our Wide Receivers section.
Facebook
and Twitter
What a perfect outlet to add value for our customers. We are committed not to merely 'having' a Facebook and Twitter page, but to actually provide benefits to our Facebook Fans and Twitter followers - from useful, up to date fantasy football information - to outright giving away free stuff. Did we mention that R. Garza of Texas won a free draft board kit for LIFE by winning of our
inaugural SaveTheDraft.com March Madness Bracket pool contest? For life! Don't look know, but there is talk of offering a fantasy football contest to our Facebook fans and Twitter followers for the ultimate prize. We'll give you a hint - it starts with an "I" and ends with a "Pad". So join us.
Even-Larger Bye Week Font: We have always maintained that the representation of the bye week on the player labels was one of the most overlooked aspects of offering a sufficient player label. Bye weeks are a critical piece of information! Our customers raved about our large bye-week font last year, and this year -
ITS EVEN BIGGER!
